Wallpaper Addiction
Oh hello everyone!
It has been a tad too long since I posted. SO much change around here, fewfta! We have a one year old now + a three and five year old. Jack just got registered for Kindergarten [um wut]. For a while I have been seeing many people put up wallpaper in their homes. At first, all I could think about is how annoying it is to take it down. Then I got a tad envious and wanted to join the party. However, have you seen the prices for those tiny rolls of paper?! Goodness!
Black Friday rolled around and I had my eye on a specific pattern. At the time I had no clue on where I’d put it but that I wanted it. The huge sale hit and I went for it! About a month and a half rolled by and we [well my mom] got the supplies and hung it up. She started talking in weird wallpaper lingo and I had no clue what she meant; I just let her roll with it. At one point my sister and I were drinking some hot coffee while we watched her hang it up [did I mention she did this for me on her birthday!] #realwinner
Getting to the end and due to the “repeat pattern” we got too low and couldn’t fully finish the wall. I quickly ordered another roll and it should be here soon. I couldn’t wait to show you all the semi - finished product so here it is!!
I have found a new addiction to wallpaper... an expensive addition. If you follow me on social media you know that we are about to put our home on the market. You are probably thinking why would she put up wallpaper to just move out of the house? Long story short, we were looking for houses for a while then gave up hope. That is when we wallpapered the dining room and a few weeks later BOOM a house went up and we put our offer in. I can only hope the new owners love the wallpaper ;) I will share our journey and "why" to our new house in the next blog post!
Have a wonderful week!
