Halloween [2019] Recap

Anyone else glad Halloween is done? I won’t lie, it isn’t my favorite Holiday. BUT the kids are obsessed with it….

Picking out costumes was interesting this year. Jack is at that age where the typical cute action hero wasn’t up his ally and some of the “older” kid costumes either wouldn’t fit him or he had no clue who they were. Luckily, we settled on Harry Potter. Savannah can’t make up her mind to save her life. We went from a dance to wonder women [which we did buy…] to a Vikings Cheerleader. We have certainly got our money’s worth with that. RIP Wonder Women costume. Wells was the tough one. He understands Halloween and costumes but when we asked what he wanted to be all he said was “I want to wear a costume”…. um okay. We had a little national guards uniform from when Jack was little. So there you have it.

From being a room mom for Jacks class to school Halloween parties we were busy. You know, getting our money’s worth out of those costumes. And bringing home WAY too much sugar.

Halloween night we went to a nearby neighborhood and ran into so many friends and had a lot of fun. Edward even came with! We made it to plenty of houses before the meltdowns started and my hands became icicles.

Now we sit with way too much candy at home and the costumes are forgotten. BRING ON CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!
