Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!!!

Our weather here in MN is crazy. I know we don’t get the right to complain since we decided to live her but….it’s pure crazy.

I wanted to share some of my favorites with you all and I look forward to continuing this every Friday! I’ll mix in recipes + products + shows + hacks + etc. So here we go….

1// Reusable Bags - We all know that the amount of plastic and waste we toss everyday is out of control. This is not an area that I am perfect in, but I am working on it! [So please send me all your suggestions] Now that my kids bring snacks to school or we pack some up for road trips, having these bags have helped a ton. They are easy to wash out and I just dry them by flipping a cup upside down and hang drying them. HIGHLY suggest you stock up on these.

2// Carrot Noodles- I know many of you love “zoodles” but they are always too soggy for me. I found frozen[Green Giant] carrot noodles at Target a few months ago and havnt’t turned back! I am a buffalo sauce lover so I’ll just sauté them up in a pan and add celery + blue cheese crumbles + pour buffalo sauce over it for a quick lunch. Pinterest has a ton of recipes for these so I can’t wait to try more out.

3// Hair Drying Towels - I don’t know what took me so long to finally get these but [OMG] these are awesome. I was team two towels after showers, yes such a waste. I’d use one for my hair and one for my body and now I just use these and not only do I not have heavy towel on my head but it actually dries your hair so fast! Savannah is very particular on hers… she only wears the pink one.

4// Riverdale - People are always asking for TV show recommendations and our recent one is Riverdale. SO good. It was not what I expected it to be or evolve into but 100% worth the binge watching ;)

5// Illuminating Glow Stick - Would it really be a Friday Favorites without a Beautycounter item?! With the dry air comes dry skin. I try to go more cream vs powder for makeup and hands down this glow stick has given my face life in these nasty Winter months. With highlighters being all the rage, this product is easy to use and gives you a great highlighted look. Another tip…switch you powder blush to a cream blush [caramel is my favorite color!].
