Bump Update 12-13 Weeks
Happy Father's Day!!
I hope you all had a great weekend & had some fun family time in. This weekend I took Jack to one of Uncle Matt's softball games then ended the night with a shopping trip to Target with Grandma [we all know how those go]. Saturday we headed to Little Falls to celebrate Steve's Grandpa's birthday. Sunday we were up early, per usual, and headed to the park. Before lunch we hit the pool for a quick swim then hung around the rest of the afternoon. Grandpa McGowan even too us out for ice cream before bedtime!
Here is a quick Bump Update! So happy I am on the up hill to feeling 100%.
How Far Along: 12-13 Weeks
Maternity Clothes: Still none, but I can tell it’s going to be hard to button my pants soon!
Symptoms: The morning sickness has finally passed. However, I am left with that icky feeling if I don’t eat every 2 hours. My blood sugar drops and instantly feel like I could puke. At least I know food will help cure this versus the morning sickness that could never be cured! Downside, I feel like I’m going to gain 50 pounds with all the food I’m eating! Luckily, it isn’t only carbs that cure this, I can eat fruits and veggies to help with the hunger. With my last two pregnancies it was all carbs :/ Crossing my fingers that the diet change I have made it will really help with my weight gain. I can already see the lifestyle change in how I cook and plan meals has changed for the better. [I can’t say Steve feels the same way LOL]
Mood: Finally turning around and having more energy. Thank goodness! I am starting to feel like myself and I have more motivation to get stuff done. I can’t say I’m cleaning that much more but I’ve been able to get the kids out of the house more and go to the park.
Missing Anything: Feeling “normal.” I am glad the sickness is lifting but I still have to plan around eating and make sure I don’t get an empty stomach. I am starting to miss the way my clothes used to fit too… darn!
Workouts: Good! Finally, back into them, and doing them every day. I am currently in a challenge group and it really helps me stay on top of them. For the program we do before & after pictures… yeah that will be funny to see ;)
Have a great week!!
