Apr 2 Life Updates [COVID-19 Style]

To say life has been a lot different around here would be an understatement. As i’m sure you feel the same. I am not here today to tell you any tips or tricks but to just share some highlights on this time at home [even though there has been a TON of not so highlight worthy times].

These past few weeks I have gone from shock, anxiety, fear, “coming to terms” with everything and back to shock and anxiety. This is something that people havnt’t gone through before and it changes by the hours. If you are anything like me, I hate unknowns! If you follow me on IG you know I am a huge fan of mems and that has helped bring smiles to many faces :)

So what have we been doing?

+Eating way too many snacks.

+Just started E- learning [thankfully Jack is so independent and handles this with excitement!]

+Fresh air! A huge shout out to MN having some kick butt weather!

+Cleaning and organizing like crazy. But somehow with these tiny humans in the house 24/7 it still looks destroyed.

+Attempting to work. I feel for all of you out there with kids home and trying to balance e learning, house work and getting your actual work done. Holy cow…. this is killing my brain cells. I see a lot of “give yourself grace” posts but at the end of the day things need to get done and balancing it all is a not an easy job.

+Games. SO many games have been played but the top pick is Uno in our house.

+Crafts. JK… I hate crafts ;) My kids get markers and blank paper.

+Zoom calls. LOTS of them! From seeing classmates and friends, virtual HHs and dance classes.
