Strawberr-Wee Fruit Leather!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

There have been a few moms’ now that have posted recipes from www.weelicious.com so I started to browse their Instagram and website. There are SO many recipes I want to try, so today I am trying my first one [ Strawberr-Wee Fruit Leather]!

Jack is obsessed with helping me cook or bake and this recipe seemed super easy and simple. TWO ingredients…. What could go wrong ;) I cut the strawberries the night before so I didn’t have to try and manage Jack wanting to help and a knife on the counter. You just combine and blend 3 cups of strawberries with 1 tablespoon of honey. Spread it evenly over parchment paper lined baking sheet with a spoon/spatula. 

After it baked for a little over 2 hours [250 degrees] we placed in on the counter to cool for another few hours. It comes out kind of hard, and it made me nervous it didn’t work, but it softened up over the next few hours. After its all cooled, take kitchen scissors and cut the sheet into strips. Roll them up and you are good to go! We have ours stored in a plastic container and put in the Jack's snack bin. 

All in all, it was quick and easy to make! Best part [ IT TASTED AWESOME!] Jack can’t stop eating them and it makes me feel good that there isn’t any of the extra crap in them like the kind you buy at the store. MOM WIN! I look forward to trying out more recipes from them and sharing them with you guys :)
