May 2 Weekend Recap

How is it Monday already?! This weekend flew by & now its back to reality.

This weekend we celebrated Steve's 30th birthday and all in all it was pretty low key. We [Steve] did some yard work Saturday and we just hung around the house most of the day. Steve and I went to bed early and turned on the movie The Intern. Such a good movie, highly recommend it!

Sunday was his actual Birthday and we just hung out in the morning at home then he went off to play a round of golf. I have been slightly addicted to the HGTV show Tiny House, so I watch that the majority of their nap [time well spent I know]. Once Steve got home we went out to dinner with my parents then after that it was already time to get the kids to bed.

Jacks in this new phase where he thinks he doesn't have to sleep when its light out. Somedays he has been up at 6 am [argh]. We did get that clock that turns a color so they know its time to wake up but havnt really tried it yet; maybe we should give it a try! Now Savannah on the other hand have been sleeping past 8 am... Why can't they be on the same sleep schedule?!

I am also SUPER excited because Beautycounter just launched their mascara today!! WAHOO What's so awesome about it?
