Weekend Recap

Wow, this weekend felt like true Summer! Full of no plans and tan lines. 

As you may have seen on my Instagram, Steve told me to take the morning off on Saturday. So what does any mom do? Grabs a coffee, bakery items then hits the sun! So thankful my parents only live 10 min away and have a fabulous pool ;) My brothers softball team was playing out in TN this weekend so we watched the games live while sitting in the sun. I spent the morning there then realized how stinkin nice out it was, so I grabbed Jack during Savannah's nap time and headed back to my parents to swim. Oh ya we made a pit stop on the way and bought a new car... [ops] After Savi got up from her nap they joined us. We ate some food, gambled on the horse races then headed home. 

Sunday was kind of the same thing. Woke up, grabbed coffee and went to Grandmas. However, my parents ended up taking Jack to my sisters party at her house while I stayed at their place during Savannah's nap. AKA I got some free tanning time! My friend even came over, soaked up some rays then of course, an hour into nap Savi pooped [ARGH]. So much for that long tanning session. She usually takes 2.5-3 hour naps! Once Jack got back we headed home for some backyard sprinkler and pool time then winding the night down with dinner and TV ;) 

I can tell both kids are wiped out, so lets hope they sleep really well tonight [who am I kidding, the sun freakin wakes them up at 6 am now].
